Award Movie : LensCulture Street Photography Awards Winners 2016

こんなムービーできてました。自分の数枚は1：04あたりから。マイアミのやつもそうだけどこういうの見るとようやく少しずつ実感わくなぁ。下記3つのイベントでも上映される（された）らしいです。現地で観てみたい、と思ったけど一瞬やからよくわからんやろうね。

 

■Month of Photography Denver
Month of Photography Denver is a biennial celebration of fine art photography through over 60 collaborative public events throughout Denver and surrounding region for the months of March and April 2017. We are joining multiple museums galleries and schools surrounding fine art photography creating an exciting artistic and educational event for the city of Denver and the region. They will be running the LensCulture competition winners and finalists will be displayed on big screens and projections throughout the month of March and April at MoP's hub, RedLine Contemporary Art Space. The videos will be running during all their events including the portfolio review weekend.

■Tiradentes
Consolidated as one of the most important national events for Brazilian creative photography, the Tiradentes Photo Festival is focused on brazilian contemporary works. Between 22nd and 25th of March, the city of Tiradentes is taken over by workshops, conferences, exhibitions, book launches, lectures and projections, all dedicated to contemporary photography. The LensCulture competition winners and finalists will be displayed on Friday March 24th and Saturday March 25th at 9 PM in Tiradentes.

■Focus Photography Festival
FOCUS Photography Festival Mumbai was launched in 2013. FOCUS extends out of the gallery space and onto the walls, shops and cafes of Mumbai as well into the very streets of the city. Working with a cross-section of different spaces, we aim to not only celebrate the art form through an eclectic choice of artists and new cultural collaborations, but also to reach and engage with a diverse array of visitors. The LensCulture competition winners and finalists will be displayed on Wednesday March 15th from 6:30-9 PM at Carter Road Promenade, Bandra and Monday March 20th from 6:30-7:30 PM at FOCUS HUB.

Exhibition Report : First Solo Exhibition "Elimination Method" @ Space Place Gallery

もう終わってから1ヶ月くらい経っちゃったけど展示の様子をあらためてまとめて紹介。そりゃロシアだし冬だし雪は当然積もるよね。豪雪よね。交通機関マヒしてオープニングに人が集まらないのもしょうがないよね。ここから次のとある機会につながってるものもあるんだけど全体的な反応とか聞けてないから次回はもっとそういうのを得られるように考えよう…。遠隔だとやりっぱなしになっちゃうのはもったいないなぁ。なんだかんだでこのシリーズもネットと展示で結構たくさんの人に見てもらえたはず。とりあえずみんなありがとう。関係ないけどレンハンさようなら。残念だなぁ。

Featured : "孤高的个体" on "CAPA CAMERA Chinese Edition"

発売はちょっと前（2017年1月1日）になるけどCAPA CAMERAの中国版で特集してもらいました。ようやくサンプル本が届いたのでざっと紹介。やっぱりカメラ雑誌なので基本的に新商品のスペック紹介とかがメインだけど巻頭にはこうして誰かの作品を紹介してるみたい（ちなみに後半の特集ではニックターピンのバスのやつが同じくらいのページで特集されてます）。ちょっとしたインタビュー的なものも載せてくれてるしかなり最初の方のページなのでたくさんの人に読んでもらえたのではないでしょうか？発行部数とか知らんけどなんとなくinstagramのフォロワーとかは中国系の人が多くなった気がする。たまに５、６人しかフォローしてないのにそのうちの一人が俺、とかの人もいて…その人にとって俺はなんなんだろうって思う。「中国人」「中国人」「きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ」「佐々木希」「俺」みたいな。まぁ偉人たちと肩を並べられてありがたいことですが…。最近アサカメのコンペとか出さなくなったからこういう雑誌に載るのはまた新鮮でいいね（さらに投稿とかじゃなくオファーがきての掲載だし）。また某国の雑誌からも誘いが来てるので来月くらいにはまた紹介できそう。今年に入ってから各所で紹介してもらってるけど撮影する機会はほぼ皆無。今年は年末年始の台湾以降、５分くらい雪撮っただけ。たぶんこの感じでいくと次に撮るぞ！って感じで撮れるのはゴールデンウィークくらいかな…。ストリートか否かとかもうどうでもいいからとりあえず遠くに行ってフラフラしたい。
